Circa 1912 Antique Longines Pocket Watch Railway Clock Cal18.49 Good working condition
SKU: 202403014166
We will be introducing antique pocket watches from Longines, a long-established manufacturer founded in 1832.
This is a railroad pocket watch with an alloy case, circa 1912.
The case back is engraved with "BAP 825," which likely refers to Buenos Aires Pacifico, a British company that developed the railway network in Argentina in the early 20th century.
Many railroad watches are made by American manufacturers or Omega, but Longines watches are rare.
It is unknown whether it has been overhauled, but the balance wheel is in good condition and ticks along smoothly.
We hope this once-in-a-lifetime encounter will be a special one for you!
