1875 British antique sterling silver double door card case 75g Frederick Marson
SKU: 202504185248
We would like to introduce you to an antique British sterling silver card case.
This is a card case that would have been custom-made for an upper-class person at the time.
The surface decoration is so beautiful that no two pieces are alike.
This work was created by Frederick Marson of Birmingham, England in 1875.
Frederick Marson was a workshop that specialized in small items such as card cases.
It has a double opening and has nine accordion-style cloth pockets on the inside.
Both sides are decorated with intricately carved patterns, and the cartouche is engraved with a monogram that is believed to be the initials of the first owner.
The pocket can hold not only business cards but also credit cards and folded bills.
We hope that this once-in-a-lifetime encounter will be a special one!
