Pair of antique daguerreotypes in leather-covered cases
SKU: 202504185254
We would like to introduce some antique daguerreotype photographs.
A pair of photographs believed to date from the British Victorian period.
The photographs are made using the world's first photographic technique called "daguerreotype," invented in 1839, and each contains a photograph of a woman from that time period.
It comes in a case and when unfolded it can be used as a photo frame.
The exterior of the leather-covered case has some tape repairs and peeling paint, but the interior is in beautiful condition.
We hope that this once-in-a-lifetime encounter will be a special one for you.
