We would like to introduce you to an antique British box with a pure silver lid.
This work was created by William Neale of London, England in 1843.
A long, thin box for storing small accessories, hat pins, etc.
The glass box is fitted with a gold-plated (gilt/vermeil) sterling silver lid, which is intricately carved and has all the gilt still in place.
It is in such good condition that it is hard to believe it was made in 1843, and is in excellent condition.

There is some slight wear from age, but no noticeable scratches and it is in very good condition.
The gold plating (gilt/vermeil) on the lid is well preserved. There are several small holes in the lid to let air out. The glass has some small scratches, but is in very good condition.
