Made by Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham, England, 1898.
This is a pair of small glass jars of almost the same size, each with a sterling silver lid and cut glass container.
It is thought to be a container used to store cosmetic creams etc.
The lid is decorated with intricate carvings and features a lion emblem engraved in the center.
