We would like to introduce you to an antique British sterling silver card case.
This is a work by Frederick Marson, Birmingham, England, 1869.
The surface is geometrically engraved with extremely intricate wavy lines, which give off a delicate, silky sheen depending on the angle of the light. The four corners and edges are hand-carved with large flowers and gracefully curved leaves.
In the circular space in the center of the front is a beautifully hand-carved, ornate monogram, presumably the initials of the original owner.
It is large enough to fit current business cards without any problems and can hold about 15 business cards.
It comes perfectly housed in what appears to be the original case.
I hope this "once in a lifetime" encounter will be a special one!
