Introducing British antique sterling silver sugar tongs.
This is a work by the Bateman family, circa 1793.
The Bateman Family was a famous silver workshop that was all the rage at the time until around 1830, run by the family of Hayter Bateman, a famous female silver craftsman.
Elegant and beautiful decorations are applied throughout.
There are traces of reinforcement on the inside of the base on one side, but it has been repaired well.

Function: ★★★★☆ There is slight deterioration, but there is almost no problem.
