1849 British antique scroll engraved sterling silver card case, 71g, Taylor & Perry
SKU: 202506215473
We would like to introduce you to an antique British sterling silver card case.
Made by Taylor & Perry, Birmingham, England, 1849.
The entire piece is covered with antique-style botanical scroll patterns and delicate floral decorations.
The cartouche is engraved with a monogram that appears to be the initials of the first owner.
There are dents in the corners and a small hole on the side near the lid, but there is almost no distortion and it is in fairly good condition for a card case from the mid-19th century.
It is large enough to fit current business cards without any problems and can hold more than 15 business cards.
I hope this "once in a lifetime" encounter will be a special one!
