1862 British Antique Pure Silver (925 Silver) Mug 133g Henry Wilkinson
SKU: 164525757
This is a cup called a christening cup.
It seems that they were given as baby gifts to children born into wealthy families such as aristocrats.
This is a work made by the Henry Wilkinson workshop in London, England, in 1862.
Bright-cut ribbon-like carvings are applied, and the legs are decorated with beading.
The cartouche part is engraved with a monogram that seems to be the initials of the first owner.
We hope this lovely silver cup will add color to your day!
