A penknife is a small knife used to sharpen the tip of a quill pen.
This is a work of "Mappin Brothers" which is a sister company of Mappin and Webb.
It is foldable with a white mother-of-pearl handle and a pure silver blade.
The white oyster handle is beautifully carved.
