This is a silver case pocket watch that is believed to be from around 1900.
The movement uses an old cylinder escapement system.
Many antique clocks with cylinder escapements are in poor working order.
This still maintains excellent accuracy.

It is unknown whether it has been overhauled, but the balance wheel is in good condition and ticks along smoothly.
