Introducing a British antique sterling silver mug.
It will be a cup called a christening cup (baptism cup).
It seems that it was given as a gift for the birth of a child born in a wealthy family such as aristocrats.
This is the work of Daniel and Charles Houle in London, England in 1856.
The decorative surface divided into 6 sides and the curved form make it a beautiful cup.
Each side is engraved with a cherry blossom-like flower in the cartouche below the scroll decoration.
