Introducing an antique sterling silver box.

This is a square-shaped box made of Continental silver, which appears to be a snuff box.
A snuff box is a small case in which to keep snuff.
It seems to have been popular among the European aristocracy of the time.

The lid and sides are decorated with beautiful relief carvings of men, women and flowers.

Appearance: ★★★★☆ Excellent condition with no noticeable scratches or stains. Function: ★★★★☆ Slight deterioration but no major issues.

- There is some overall wear from age and some dents on the lid, but it has been well maintained and is in beautiful condition.
- The internal gold plating is quite thin.
- On the front there is an engraving of "800" and a crown which appears to be a German hallmark.
- The lid opens and closes smoothly and fits snugly.

Since it is a very old item, there are small scratches and stains due to aging.
