Roniettes are foldable glasses with two lenses that were worn by upper-class ladies.
It seems that it was also used as a fashion accessory by hanging it around the neck on a chain.

This is a sterling silver Ronniet with beautiful openwork engraving and gold plating.
The mechanism for the lens to pop out is good, but the part that opens the folded lens is weak and requires a little manual assistance when using it.
There is a mark on the holding part so that you can attach a chain etc.
