1897 British Antique Sterling Silver Double Door Card Case 122g Deakin and Francis
SKU: 202403294181
Introducing a British antique sterling silver card case.
This is a card case that would have been custom made by the upper class of the time.
The surface decoration is very beautiful and no two pieces are the same.
This is a work by the famous Deakin and Francis of Birmingham, England, circa 1895.
The entire piece has detailed scroll carvings, and the cartouche is engraved with a monogram that is believed to be the initials of the first owner.
The double-opening type leather pocket inside is also in beautiful condition.
There is a spring in the hinge part, and it opens when you press the button.
It comes with a small propelling pencil that also works well.
We hope that this “once in a lifetime opportunity” will be a special encounter for you!
