Late 19th Century British Antique All Sterling Silver Fish Cutlery 3 Pairs by John Gilbert
SKU: 202405104346
We present to you an antique British sterling silver fish cutlery set.
This is fish cutlery from Sheffield, England, circa the late 19th century.
The knives are made by John Gilbert and the forks are made by Fenton Brothers and JB.
Although they are made by different manufacturers, the designs are quite similar so there is no sense of incongruity.
The knife blades are decorated with intricate carvings of fish, and each of the three knives has a different design, making them quite intricately made.
It is believed that there were originally many sets, but only three pairs remain.
We hope this once-in-a-lifetime encounter will be a special one for you!
