1904 British antique white mother-of-pearl handle and pure silver button hook by John Holmes
SKU: 202405244387
We would like to introduce you to antique button hooks.
A button hook is a tool that makes it easier to button clothes even when wearing gloves.
Insert the tip of the hook through the button hole and grab the base of the button with the tip of the hook.
The buttoning is completed by slowly pulling the button out of the hole.
It's an antique-like tool that is rarely seen these days.
This is a work by John Holmes of Sheffield from 1904.
The handle is made of white mother-of-pearl and the hook is made of pure silver.
It's a cute size like a penknife and can be folded up.
We hope this once-in-a-lifetime encounter will be a special one for you!
