1880 British antique sterling silver footed dish pair with cobalt glass liner, Dobson & Sons
SKU: 202407054486
We would like to introduce you to an antique British sterling silver footed dish.
This is a work by Dobson & Sons, London, England, made in 1880.
There is also a stamp that France puts on the item when it is imported, so it appears to have been an export item to France.
This is a pair of identical designs, each with a glass liner set into a pure silver base.
The pure silver base is decorated with beautiful, three-dimensional leaf motifs, and the legs are cabriolet legs shaped like animal paws.
The cobalt blue glass liner also appears to be original.
This footed dish features a beautiful combination of silver and cobalt glass.
We hope this once-in-a-lifetime encounter will be a special one for you!
