1836 British antique pure silver fish cutlery, 3 pairs, total weight 319g, Charles Needham
SKU: 202407054493
Shipable areas: UK, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore
We are pleased to present you with an antique British sterling silver fish cutlery set.
This is a work by Charles Needham of Sheffield, England, dating from 1836.
The blades of the knife and fork appear to have been replaced in later years.
Although they are made by different manufacturers, the designs are quite similar so there is no sense of incongruity.
The handle is the classic "King's pattern" of British antique silver cutlery.
The knife blades are intricately carved with fish designs, and each of the three knives has a different design, making them quite elaborate.
It is believed that there were originally many sets, but only three pairs remain.
Comes with a cloth roll case.
We hope this once-in-a-lifetime encounter will be a special one for you!
