The Albert Chain is a chain with a bar for attaching a buttonhole and a pocket watch to the clip.
This is an Albert chain made of British sterling silver around 1900.
It has an ornate fob with a silver eagle carving resting on a round purple gemstone.
The chain is highly decorative, called a fancy link, and combines two different shaped links.
