Made in 1908, this is a beautifully decorated push-type pencil with a pure silver barrel.
It is a very small, retractable type called a Magic Pencil.
The pen barrel is stamped with the Royal Assay Service's sterling silver hallmark.
An amber-colored stone is embedded in the bottom of the pen, and when rotated, a replacement refill can be stored inside.
