This is a work by Jehoiada Alsop Rhodes, a mid-19th century British artist.
This is a set of 12 large dessert spoons.
The bowl of the spoon is gold plated and the handle and bowl are decorated with leaves.
The case is a little damaged but fits perfectly.

Although there is some wear over time, there are no noticeable scratches or dents and the item is in beautiful condition.
The owl part of the spoon still has gold plating. There is a maker's mark on the back of the handle.
The case is dirty and scratched and the opening and closing button is missing, but it still works.
