1902 British antique sterling silver card case, 81g, Joseph Rodgers
SKU: 202411234857
We would like to introduce you to an antique British sterling silver card case.
This is a card case that would have been custom-made for an upper-class person at the time.
The surface decoration is so beautiful that no two pieces are alike.
This work was created by Joseph Rodgers in Birmingham, England in 1902.
Both sides are decorated with antique scrollwork.
One side of the center piece is cartouche-shaped and engraved with a monogram that is believed to be the initials of the first owner.
It is large enough to fit modern business cards without any problem, and is thick for an antique card case, able to hold more than 25 business cards.
We hope that this once-in-a-lifetime encounter will be a special one!
