This work was created by Thomas Shaw of Birmingham, England, during the reign of William IV, in 1833.
Thomas Shaw was a workshop that specialized in small cases such as vinaigrette.
Both lids are intricately decorated with different floral designs.
The interior is beautifully decorated, with the gold plating still intact and in good condition.
