SKU: 202508155650
We would like to introduce you to an antique British sterling silver jug.
This is a work by Edward Crofton from Ireland before independence from Britain in 1832.
This is a jug for milk, cream, sauces, etc.
The entire piece is embossed with intricate flowers, leaves, birds and other ornaments, and the handle is decorated with acanthus.
The four legs are also designed to resemble lion's paws.
Although it was made nearly 200 years ago, the gold plating on the inside is still intact and it is in very good condition with no signs of repair.
It is made from thick, heavy gauge silver and is much heavier than it looks.
We hope this once-in-a-lifetime encounter will be a special one for you!
