This cutlery set, known as Christening Cutlery, was a gift given as a birth gift to a child born into a wealthy family.

This is a work by the prestigious British silversmiths Martin, Hall & Co., circa 1866.
The set includes a knife, fork and spoon all made of pure silver.
The breathtakingly beautiful hand-engraved detailing throughout the piece is a testament to the exceptional skills of the artisans of the time.
The handle is engraved with an elegant monogram, evoking a sense of its history as a piece that has been carefully passed down through generations.
