1979 English Vintage Sterling Silver Ballpoint Pen & Propelling Pencil by William Manton Ltd with Case

This is a pair set of sterling silver ballpoint pen and propelling pencil, crafted by the Birmingham, UK silversmith "William Manton" in 1979.

The slim sterling silver barrels are adorned with an engine-turned "Barleycorn" pattern that creates delicate shadows depending on the angle of the light, while a plain band placed in the center exudes refined elegance. The ballpoint pen features a light click mechanism, and the pencil is a traditional propelling type operated by twisting the top, both fitting neatly into a planner or jacket pocket.
